Airs Thursday nights at 8pm.
The Vietnam War
On October 13th, KVCR presented the screening of The Vietnam War: A Film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novak. In partnership with several veterans associations in San Bernardino, Moreno Valley and San Bernardino Valley College, KVCR invited the community to join us for this special screening. The event allowed veterans, service members and families to connect with opportunities, training, and resources, and to increase awareness and education about the war and its effect in the community. The event was hosted at the Universal Technical Institute in Rancho Cucamonga as one of the partners for this event.Vietnam War veteran Ronnie Guyer shared his opinion of the Vietnam War documentary, and how it gives veterans a platform to speak about their experiences and what really happened in Vietnam. Also, Albert Guiterrez, our own SBVC employee and Vietnam vet shared his experience at this event.
